FELLOWSHIP & FUNDRAISING TEAM

We have received the following regarding volunteering with Roar.

We are a charity based in Johnstone but covering Renfrewshire and we empower older adults through mental well-being and physical ability, so they can stay active, independent and in-charge!

We run a variety of local services including Befriending, Stronger For Longer (Our personalised frailty & falls Prevention programme), Health & Wellbeing Clubs, Digital Support and Roar Do Feet (toenail trimming).  We also host walking football, a men's only group and Otago - strength and balance exercise classes.

Our projects rely heavily on volunteers to support the staff as well as the 1200 service users that we reach.  We are very flexible and endeavour to facilitate any time that works for the volunteer.
