Intimations

Mrs Rena Tomlinson died last Sunday and her funeral will be held in the Hurlett Crematorium at 10am on Tues 10th Nov; our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Next week we will be commemorating Armistice in our morning worship, and in our on-line audio.

Sat 7th Nov Scout Coffee morning 11am-1pm tickets £2 on sale now or at the door.

It is only 4 weeks to the church Christmas Fayre, and donations for the stalls will be welcome - please see parish Patter or the Poster for details of stalls, and in four weeks our sanctuary will be dressed for Advent and Christmas. Details of how to help with that task will be given nearer the time.

JP 195 O, when the saints

traditional

O, when the saints go marching in,

O, when the saints go marching in.

O Lord, I want to be in that number

when the saints go marching in.

O when they crown him Lord of all...

O when the gather round the throne...

O, when the saints go marching in...

God the Father of Creation,

source of light and energy,

your creative love so shapes us

that we share your liberty.

Teach us how to use this freedom

loving children all to be.

Jesus Christ our Lord and brother,

in your cross we see the way

to be servants for each other,

caring, suffering every day.

Teach us patience and obedience

never from your path to stray.

Holy Spirit, love that binds us

to the Father and the Son,

giver of the joy that fills us,

yours the peace that makes us one,

teach our hearts to be more open

as we pray ’God’s will be done.’
